Explore the artifacts derived from the German Koldewey-excavation (1899-1917). This compilation mirrors the excavation inventory with about 67.000 entries. All entries were transferred into a database by Olof Pedersén in a longtime task. The data base lists all artifacts with original excavation numbers, date, findspots and a short description, supplemented by him with further information on excavation photos, drawings, bibliographical references and later Museum Collection Numbers. The original information has been to some extent systematized and corrected with problems notified.
In 2017 the database was integrated in babylon-online.org. Newer information is added contentiously.
